ESSEC International

ESSEC International is the international branch of ESSEC Alumni. As any alumni associations, his mission is to facilitate the integration of ESSEC Alumnis in their hosted country. Indeed, dedicated services and a friend network will help Alumnis in there personal and professional life. To this end, 55 chapters around the world chaired by an ESSEC Alumni volunteer are ready.

ESSEC International chapters mission

But the originality of ESSEC International is to go further. In fact, ESSEC international chapters presidents sign a president charter which provide their action roadmap. Then their mission is larger.

• Establish the ESSEC Group in country authorities (embassy, chamber of commerce, ministry in charge, universities, local headhunters, etc.).
• Organize major events as the case in the US A, in China, in UK, in order to link ESSEC brand with major events. ESSEC International, for such actions, can increase the worldwide ESSEC notoriety, thereby facilitating the recruitment of foreign students.
• Strongly involved in recruiting process leaded by ESSEC.
• High implication in major programs lunched by ESSEC Group. ESSEC international chapters managed the celebration of the ESSEC century, high covered event, for example in China where the media coverage was significant.
• Communication about the fundraising campaign. Using the networks of ESSEC International is precious in organizing events presided by Pierre Tapie, as was the case especially in New York.
•  Find internships for students and career opportunities for Alumnis.

Paris events

In Paris, ESSEC International pursues the same strategy to support the ESSEC image. Four events are engaged in this direction:

• The « Cercle diplomatique » ESSEC International receives significant Ambassadors, stationed in Paris, with the objective of raising awareness of the ESSEC to Ambassadors and theirs cabinets. Were welcomed, has several opportunities for some countries, Ambassadors of the USA, China, Japan, Korea, India, the UK, Germany, Russia, Canada, Turkey, Israel and Vietnam.
• The “Forum et le Networking”  ESSEC International, although dedicated to different targets, are two types of recurring events whose main objective is to know the international face of ESSEC
• The “Dosokai” is very specific because it addresses to the Japanese business community in Paris.

 Synergies

If the core activity of ESSEC International is the help given to Alumni, its global aim is to create a synergy with the ESSEC Group, particularly in the promotion of the internationale image of the group, and thus the image of a french "grande école".
