In 2004, after studying at the HES Amsterdam School of Economics for 2 years, I decided to move to Cergy for my Double Degree. This choice was based on my past academic performance and my desire to be able to present myself in the future with a degree from both my home school and EPSCI (groupe ESSEC). The obtention of the Double Degree proves a students desire to obtain the maximum amount of credit for a year-long program abroad. An advantage of EPSCI is the resources the school has to offer to students participating in their programs. The school offers a respectable level of education and helps a student develop him-herself for the future. The classes at EPSCI bring a new dimension into knowledge attained earlier in that there is a large international group with interesting insights. After obtaining my double degree I will be moving on into an MBA degree and/or a geopolitical masters degree. |

EPSCI has been the opportunity to make an enriching experience in France. I have not only got the chance to know the French culture and its language, but also the culture of the other international students, which come all around the world. There is a wide variety of courses, in English and in French, including cultural and professional ones. This has left me calm, because I am having the opportunity to study in English, and at the time, I strenghten little by little my French. It has been very interesting to change the method of studies I had in my current university. Sincerely, this has helped me to open my eyes and to complement my program of studies. For example, here I became aware of how much a person can and should learn by doing good stages and appenticeships, and the importance of having them. About the proceedings to enter EPSCI, they are all easy to follow, thanks to the help of the International Students Department and all the clear and written instructions they send us by mail. Also, we receive help from the World Wide Welcome association, which welcomes us very kindly. A point that I cannot avoid to say is that the student life in EPSCI is great; every week the school counts with parties and lots of different activities, since sports, cultural events, movies in the school... all and even more than a student can expect that would be in its university. EPSCI is a wonderful experience! |
