Before specializing in your chosen area, a common core of courses and seminars covers the various fields of business administration, research methodology and analytical tools (students in the Economics and Finance concentration also have special Preliminary Courses). During the rest of the initial two-year period, you will be able to concentrate on courses/seminars in your own field and develop your ability to conduct world-level research, before starting work on your dissertation under the supervision of one or two professors.
