Applying to IMHI: Admissions on both tracks



We are looking for candidates with a combination of academic and managerial abilities.

Profile of the One Year Track
Age range: Between 26 and 35 years old
Average work experience: 4 - 5 years
a minimum of 3 years of professional experience
Prior business degree or equivalent
High level of motivation and maturity
Profile of the Two Year Track
Age range: Between 22 and 28 years old
Average work experience: 2 - 3 years
Diverse educational backgrounds
Requiring additional experience
in the hospitality industry

You can visit the school if you are in the Paris region by making an appointment with Joelle Harris.
You can also come to an Open Day when you will have the opportunity to attend an IMHI class or you can meet us at one of the MBA or hospitality fairs that we attend.

You can meet with students and alumni during Get-Togethers organized by the alumni association, in Paris (10 events a year), London, New York, Brussels, Dubai, Madrid and other cities worldwide. These informal meetings allow you to find out about the personal experiences of current students and alumni, ask questions and get an idea of what IMHI and life after IMHI is all about.

- A University degree in business, hotel management (French BTS accepted) or another degree
- A minimum of one year professional work experience for the two year track, three years for the one year track
- Fluency in written and spoken English (The TOEFL is compulsory for non native speakers)
- GMAT test (Management Aptitude test)
- Academic and personal references

An experience of working or living abroad is desirable

Step One:
Obtain a brochure to know the program better

Step Two:
Acquire an application form and fill it in with care. We need to know as much as possible about your personality, motivation and potential.

Step Three:
Prepare for the GMAT and TOEFL tests

Step Four:
Send your application form before 1 April at the latest for the following September.
The program has rolling admissions and you can send your application early, especially if you are applying for the various scholarships available. We will give you an early confirmation of acceptance.
If your application is accepted, you will be invited to interviews with a panel made up of faculty and alumni from May onwards.
You can expect to hear if your application is successful a short time after the interview date.

Fees for the 2007 One Year Track: Euro 27,000
Fees for the 2007 Two Year Track: Euro 29,000 (14,500 per year)
