Septembre 19, 2008 - MBA in International Luxury Brand Management – Graduation Ceremony

The 13th Graduation Ceremony of the MBA in International Luxury Brand Management – Class of 2008 – was held on September 19 at the Maison des Arts et Métiers in Paris.

This year’s class was named after Christian Dior Couture and Mr Sidney Toledano, the President & CEO, addressed the 34 graduates present and awarded each one their diploma. Even if the luxury goods sector is today considered as an industry, Mr Toledano encouraged the graduates to stay close to its source and not miss any opportunity to visit a workshop or be in contact with people in the field and the craftsmen, so as to never forget the philosophy which keeps this industry alive and prosperous.

For the incoming Class of 2009, scholarships were awarded by Bacardi, Firmenich, L’Oreal and Montblanc who found the choice hard to make in view of the extremely high quality of the applications.

After the graduates had moved their tassels from left to right and thrown their hats up in the air, as tradition goes, the serious part of the evening was over and was followed by a sumptuous cocktail with prestigious guests from the luxury goods industry, friends and family.
