Following careful selection and management of offers, staff of the Specialized Postgraduate Programs inform students of challenging internships, with 10% coming from outside France in 2003/2004. And for a faster turnaround, job offers can be accessed on-line. Offers are evaluated according to key criteria identified by a search engine. Apprenticeships and internships must meet criteria such as initiative, risk-taking, problem-solving and added value.

Each offer received is evaluated by a special team and assigned key criteria used by a search engine. Apprenticeship offers are only available to eligible students who have completed the necessary formalities with ESSEC’s Apprenticeship Training Center.

 Apprenticeships

Internships are awarded to our students in all job functions and must meet four key criteria to be eligible. They must:

- ensure initiative and risk-taking in a professional situation,

- apply problem-solving techniques to create added value,

- use theoretical concepts learned in class, and

- enable students to evaluate, formulate and report on the internship.

Job offers are filtered by the Career Orientation Service of the ESSEC Alumni Association and loaded onto the essecnet.com web site.

ESSEC students can also access the “New Graduate” offers while still in school, directly from their on-line class portal.

Of the 6,000 job offers received this year, 5,520 were seeking experienced executives and 480 were addressed to new graduates.
