- 1st step for all candidates - The Application File
In order to submit a valid application to an ESSEC Advanced Master’s Program, the candidate must :
1/ Fill in the on-line application form (please see the deadline). Within 2 hours, the applicant receives by e-mail a copy of the application in PDF format. The applicant must print that file and send it back with all relevant pieces.
Important recommandations:
- Double check your email address before you submit your online application
- Do not wait until the last hour to submit your online application and mail the relevant pieces
2/ Take a Management Aptitude Test and an English Test.
We strongly recommend that you allow yourself enough time to prepare for the test.
It is your responsibility to take the tests early enough to submit scores on time along with your file.
Scores that are less than two years old will be accepted
- Management Aptitude Test: All applicants, with no exception, have to take a Management Aptitude Test, either the GMAT or the TAGE-MAGE
Candidates to the Advanced Master’s in Strategy and Management of International Business “Latin American Track” are required to take the GMAT.
- English Test:
Candidates must take an English test: TOEFL or TOEIC or IELTS
Candidates to the Advanced Master’s in Strategy and Management of International Business “American Track” must take the TOEFL.
The English test is not required if:
- the candidate has spent at least 3 years in an English speaking university or has lived or worked at least 3 years in an English speaking country.
3/ Send the application file (in a PDF format) and all the required material (please see deadline).
Do not wait until the last minute to mail your file and associated pieces. Late reception of your file may jeopardize your application.
Material required:
- All official transcripts of grades obtained at each of the colleges or universities attended. If the original is not in English or in French than you should provide a certified translation in one of those languages.
- Copies of all degrees or diplomas, or certificate of enrolment for current studies. If the original is not in English or in French than you should provide a certified translation in one of those languages.
- A copy of your National Identity Card or Passport or a Birth Certificate (translated into French or into English).
- Two 16 x 23 self addressed envelopes.
- One 23 x 32 self addressed envelope.
- Two recent identity photographs of good quality.
- Application fee non-refundable : 115 euros
- 2nd step only for eligible candidates - The Motivation Interview
All candidates are invited to a motivation interview. The objective of the interview to get to know candidates better, and allow them to learn more about the program and the School. The following topics are usually discussed:
- personality and personal values
- reasoning abilities
- professional project
- motivation to apply to the Advanced Master’s Program.
