Welcome to the ESSEC Advanced Master in Financial Techniques!


As financial markets are becoming intertwined and global, the complexity of issues facing financial experts has dramatically increased. The Advanced Master in Financial Techniques is designed to provide students with a comprehensive view of financial techniques that define well rounded, successful market professionals worldwide. The program trains future financial executives in market finance and corporate finance for careers in the banking sector, financial institutions, and major corporations.

Key objectives


The Advanced Master in Financial Techniques is an intensive, technical program focused on financial engineering and risk analysis, and followed by a 4 to 6-month company internship and a professional thesis. It enables participants to acquire the skills to analyze, evaluate, manage, and arbitrate.

. The track “Financial Markets & Corporate Finance” focuses on corporate finance and financial markets to address corporations’ and financial institutions’ needs for financial experts.

. The track “Financial Engineering Asia” partly based in Singapore focuses on trade finance and financial engineering to address international intermediaries’ growing needs for financial experts (banks, insurance companies, institutional investors).
