Advanced Master in Finance & Asset Management: effective educational tools for students

Teamwork is facilitated by an extranet dedicated to the Advanced Master in Finance & Asset Management program, availability of the tools and financial information used by traders in real time, and simulation games for asset management over a period of three months. All contribute to a hands-on connection with corporate reality. Teamwork takes place throughout the program and particularly during corporate and fund management simulation games, team building and case studies.

An educational approach that emphasizes group work

One of the essential aspects of the Master’s program is teamwork, especially during corporate management and fund management simulation games, a seminar on team building, case studies, and presentations.

Tools and environment on the trading floor, in a partnership with Reuters

A simulation game on managing an asset portfolio that includes European and international assets, as well as exchange rate products, provides an opportunity to use the software found in trading rooms for a period of three months (Reuters 3000 XTRA). As for lighter software solutions, students access real-time information flows and tools that enable traders to make the assessments their decisions require!

A community of learning

An extranet dedicated to the Master’s program helps connect students not only with other students, but also with their professors and the entire program faculty. Discussion forums, administrative and logistical information, access to library databases, and a place to work as a group - all combine in a dynamic set of on-line learning tools that grow with the students who use it.
