Advanced Master in International Business Law and Management: The international dimension

Today, business law intervenes at every level of corporate life, both nationally and internationally. Through its courses, study tours, and students’ careers, the Master’s program truly reflects that fact. During the Advanced Master in International Business Law and Management, the international scope of the program is ensured through courses and a study trip abroad. Students work use case studies to work on international issues. Foreign lecturers add an extra dimension to classroom teaching.

Through its courses

The case studies students work with are all real, current situations from companies with an international dimension. The majority of the cases are written in English. Other work is completed by groups of students from varying backgrounds and/or nationalities. One-third of courses is dispensed in English. Both French and English courses deal with international issues. Many lecturers are from outside France or are working in an international context.

By a study tour outside France

A one-week study tour outside France provides an opportunity to meet professionals from another country and to confront different practices. The Class of 2004 traveled to New York City.

Internationalization of classes

An international experience is becoming an increasingly important part of the paths students choose to take after their time at ESSEC. Fifteen percent of our students are non-French and 12% choose their first job outside of France. The majority find internships in companies or international business law offices both in France and abroad.
