Advanced Master in Logistics and Supply Chain Management: The international dimension

Accelerated change through new technologies and phenomena linked to internationalization has collapsed frontiers. The supply chain manager is at the very least a European who can adapt to different cultures. The international dimension of the Advanced Master in Logistics and Supply Chain Management program includes courses, case studies and travel outside France, as well as professional certification. Students take the BASICS certification exam managed by APICS, the Educational Society for Resource Management.

Courses

The exercises and case studies included in the program are based on real-life situations. Furthermore, the work is given to student groups made up of participants with diverse training and/or nationalities. About 20% of courses are given in English, and many lecturers are from outside France or work in an international environment.

The study tour outside France

The one-week study tour outside France provides an opportunity to encounter professionals in the country visited in addition to a better understanding of different supply chain practices and problems. For example, the class of 2004 traveled to Barcelona.

BASICS international professional certification

All students are prepared to take the BASICS certification of Supply Chain Management examination. Not unlike the ISO standards for companies, BASICS certification is fast becoming a gold standard for both corporations and students. Today, there are already over 10,000 BASICS-certified professionals worldwide, with about 2,000 in France alone. BASICS certification is awarded by APICS, the Educational Society for Resource Management, with over 60,000 international members.
