Advanced Master in International Supply Management: The international dimension

The supplier market has become a global one! In an uncertain economy where competition is worldwide, being competitive starts with procurement. A “world class” purchasing department must meet new challenges - differentiating the company from competition, finding new suppliers, and developing markets. The international dimension of the Advanced Master in International Supply Management program includes courses, travel outside France, and job opportunities.

Courses

The exercises and case studies included in the program are based on real-life situations of international scope. Many of the cases are in English. Furthermore, the work is organized into student groups with diverse training and/or nationalities.
Twenty percent of courses are dispensed in English, and many lecturers are from outside France or working in an international context.

The study tour outside France

During a one-week study tour outside France students meet local professionals and learn about other purchasing issues. The Class of 2004 visited the Czech Republic.

Increasingly international careers

International experience is becoming an increasingly important part of the paths students choose to take after their time at ESSEC. Ten percent of our students are international and 5% of graduates choose their first job outside of France, with 90% of them, almost the entire student body, holding positions with a strong international component.
