Building lasting partnerships together

ESSEC’s long-standing relationship with the corporate world is characterized by the depth of the partnerships developed over the years. In 2010-2011, corporate contributions represented approximately 30% of ESSEC’s budget (excluding executive education). The internship tax and sponsorship allows you to participate in the development of our training programs and teaching tools by creating research and teaching chairs and scholarship programs. You can also help optimize ESSEC’s infrastructures and accessibility. Together, we can use our innovative spirit to bring our shared values of excellence, openness and diversity to life.

Our approach

ESSEC, which has founded its development on values such as humanism, responsibility and diversity, is fully committed to promoting the integration of people with disabilities. This initiative provides an opportunity for the development of individuals and organizations, as well as a source of innovations that can benefit everyone.

Mission Handi-Capacités, created in 2008, aims to facilitate the integration of participants into initial and continuing training programs, to support professors and employees with disabilities and to make the campuses and campus activities more accessible. Raising awareness and providing managers with training in integrating the disabled into their staff are other goals.

In 2009, the Social Entrepreneurship Chair launched the PHARES program designed to support young disabled students beginning at middle-school level via weekly tutoring sessions provided by ESSEC students and career seminars, company tours and cultural outings.

Support our projects

ESSEC establishes partnerships to introduce and coordinate its projects aimed at integrating people with disabilities, whether with businesses, associations or professionals involved in initiatives for the disabled.

You too can support this initiative by becoming a donor or partner, by joining the global Mission Handi-Capacités project or more specific projects, such as converting buildings for accessibility, communications initiatives, information, recruiting and educational programs, or the PHARES program.
