ESSEC’s long-standing relationship with the corporate world is characterized by the depth of the partnerships developed over the years. In 2009, corporate contributions represented approximately 30% of ESSEC’s budget (excluding executive education). The internship tax and sponsorship allows you to participate in the development of our training programs and teaching tools by creating research and teaching chairs and scholarship programs. You can also help optimize ESSEC’s infrastructures and accessibility. Together, we can use our innovative spirit to bring our shared values of excellence, openness and diversity to life.

Financing scholarships for greater diversity

  • International
    ESSEC offers companies the opportunity to enhance their international recruiting by supporting a scholarship program. Scholarships allow high-achieving international students to continue their studies in Europe to obtain international experience and complete a high-quality management training program.
  • Openness
    ESSEC has introduced some financing solutions to make it possible for students from all countries to enter our programs regardless of their social or financial situation. The ESSEC Solidarity Fund is financed by equity as well as corporate sponsorship and donations from graduates and individuals.

Examples of corporate scholarship programs

Accor scholarship program
The Accor scholarship program is designed for one, two or three students admitted to the ESSEC MBA or the IMHI Hospitality MBA per year. In 2008, a Chinese IMHI student and an Indian ESSEC MBA student received this scholarship. In 2009, a student from China received the scholarship.

Quai d'Orsay / Entreprises
Quai d'Orsay / Entreprises is a scholarship program for high-level studies co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and companies.

Crédit Agricole
A scholarship program for students from Greece, China (Hong Kong), Italy, Japan, Serbia, Poland and Singapore who are candidates for the following Advanced Master’s programs:
• Advanced Master’s in Strategy & Management of International Business (in France only)
• Advanced Master’s in Financial Techniques, Financial Markets & Corporate Finance track (in France only)
• Advanced Master’s in Finance & Asset Management
• Advanced Master’s in Marketing Management (not open to internships)

BNP PARIBAS
En 2011, dans le cadre de la célébration de ses 100 ans de présence en Inde, BNP Paribas décide de créer un programme de bourses pour des étudiants indiens qui viendraient poursuivre leurs études en France. Pour cette première année, 15 bourses ont été octroyées à 15 étudiants indiens venus en échange à l'ESSEC. En 2011/ 2012, cette bourse finance 2 étudiants en double diplôme avec l’IIM Ahmedabad.

TOTAL
Ce programme s’adresse aux candidats internationaux de 26 pays à l’ESSEC ou aux MS. Les procédures de sélection se déroulent dans les pays partenaires du programme entre janvier et avril de chaque année, pour respecter les délais d’inscription dans les établissements universitaires d’accueil en France.

Medical studies scholarships
Roche, Sanofi Aventis, Servier and Pfizer, in partnership with the Paris Descartes School of Medicine and ESSEC, have agreed to enable four medical students to pursue their medical education and the ESSEC MBA program simultaneously. Students are selected upon entry into the second year of their medical studies, and then complete initial training in economics and management before taking the ESSEC external exam at the end of their fourth year of medical studies. The first class of scholarship students will enroll at ESSEC in 2011/12.

A scholarship program for students from Brazil, China, India and Russia who are candidates for the following Advanced Master’s programs:
• Advanced Master’s in Strategy & Management of International Business (in France only)
• Advanced Master’s in Management of Technological Projects
• Advanced Master’s in International Supply Management (not open to internships)
• Advanced Master’s in International Business Law and Management (not open to internships)
