International in scope

Openness to the world

A campus in Asia, 1,300 international students, an international faculty, 120 exchange programs as well as openness to the world, foreign languages and cultures are all an everyday reality at ESSEC.

Because leaders must construct their role on a global scale and manage intercultural issues, an international perspective lies at the heart of ESSEC’s philosophy and teaching.

Multicultural campuses

Our students discover ESSEC’s international scope the first time they set foot on one of its three campuses (Cergy-Pontoise, La Défense and Singapore). French students mingle with 1,300 students from 82 countries. Courses taught by a faculty that is 42% international, multicultural work groups and academic exchanges make the outside world a concrete and constant reality in the lives of ESSEC students.

Education attuned to the world

Education at ESSEC takes a resolutely outward-looking approach. Students are required to gain international experience, whether academic or professional in nature. University exchange programs allow students to do part of their course work in the world’s leading business schools. ESSEC has established partnerships with 120 prestigious universities, including Chicago and Kellogg in the United States; Bocconi and Mannheim in Europe; and Keio and IIM Ahmedabad in the Asia-Pacific region. Our partners are located worldwide and our 15 dual degrees round out our international programs. ESSEC also organizes many faculty exchanges and creates joint programs with the world’s top universities.

Singapore: gateway to Asia

Situated halfway between India and China, Singapore’s ideal setting fosters a global vision of the Asian continent.

Singapore has always been at the forefront of Asian development and continues to attract multinational companies from around the world. Since 2005, ESSEC’s third campus has plunged its students into the heart of a thriving business and financial hub, providing them with an ideal perspective for understanding the strengths, complexity, diversity and challenges of a key region in the 21st century.
