With 34 years of experience in hospitality management, ESSEC has offered a leading MBA in Hospitality Management IMHI program. Originally named Institut de Management Hôtelier International (IMHI), the program was initially created in 1981 as a joint venture between Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and ESSEC Business School, a partnership which lasted for 25 years.
The MBA is recognized worldwide as Europe’s leading hospitality management program and prepares future managers for high-level operational responsibilities in all tourism and hospitality sectors. Demanding and thorough, this intensive and specialized experience will add a whole new dimension to your career.
There will be a major restrusturing of the ESSEC MBA offer starting in September 2017. However we remain committed to our specialization in Hospitality to support your career aspirations and are developing two different programs. Click below to discover our new programs.
Our MSc in Hospitality Management IMHI is a two-year program, geared at younger graduates with a bachelor degree or French BTS Hôtelier. It is an intensive program aimed at fast-tracking your career in the hospitality industry. If you are under 26, and/or have limited work experience, this program is probably for you.
In contrast our ESSEC Global MBA is a one-year program. There are six specialisations to choose from, of which one is the Hospitality specialisation, and the overall goal is to steeply advance your career. Especially if you have quality post-graduate work experience and/or if you are over 26, this program might be of high interest to you.
