On 29 October 2015, graduating candidate of the ESSEC MSc in Management of Health Industries program, Goh Kian Hong, was invited to present his Masters Thesis on “Market Access Strategies for Biosimilars into China” at the Biosimilars Asia-Pacific Summit held in Singapore.

During the presentation, Kian Hong discussed China's current trends in regulatory environment and market access issues. An economic model was also proposed that revealed China's possible affordability for biologic drugs. The presentation concluded with recommendations on Market Access Strategies that were well received by industry professionals in the fully occupied room with thunderous applause. Some members present in the room indicated their interest and willingness to find out more details of the Thesis.

Speaking about his experience in the ESSEC MSc in Management of Health Industries, Kian Hong added that "This Master's program granted me an overview of the Health and Pharmaceutical industry which I otherwise might not have known in my current profession. It allowed me to understand and appreciate the decisions made by other members within the same industry."
