Before ESSEC, I was an assistant project manager in a construction company and was thinking about changes. Now at ESSEC, I have benefited a lot from my new business perspective, thanks to the gorgeous people I met here. I am very glad that I came here and I am totally optimistic about my future. I hope I can work in a combined field where both engineering and business knowledge are required, and I am sure ESSEC will help me with its high-quality education resources.

ESSEC Career Services
A word from our Career Advisor
“While at ESSEC, our students will have to validate 18 months of professional experience. They will do so both in France and abroad, in a wide variety of companies and sectors. My role as a career advisor, is to give you the tools and confidence to define your career objectives, and build a successful job search strategy.
Throughout your studies, students will be offered multiple opportunities to learn and grow: the career services team provides career training sessions, individual career coaching, and also organises major corporate events such as a Finance Forum or a 2-day Forum gathering more than 300 companies each year.
Our international students have to be prepared for the specificities of the French job market. Through intercultural and career workshops we strongly encourage you to take an active part in on and off- campus activities. While gradually building a student and company network, you increase your ability to find a professional experience that matches your objective and skills.
Our Career Center (career website) is a key tool providing you with career advice and company information. It is also a great opportunity to connect with the alumni community and current ESSEC students. Networking with peers and alumni allows you to better understand the job market, and to secure interesting internships/jobs.
My advice for international students: if you wish to work in France, give yourself every opportunity to practise French, as this is going to be a key asset for your job search!!!"
