Biography
Andreea Moraru-Arfire joined the Department of Accounting and Management Control at ESSEC in 2017 as an Assistant Professor. Her research centers on accounting harmonization, capital markets and information intermediaries, and financial reporting and regulation. Before joining ESSEC, Andreea Moraru-Arfire visited the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, as a fellow of the Swiss National Science Foundation. She earned her PhD in Finance from the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Her previous industry experience includes the European Commission, Groupe Société Générale, and the National Bank of Romania.
