The ESSEC Business School

A message from the Co-Chairmen of the Development Committee

Jean-Luc Decornoy (ESSEC 1975) is President of the KPMG Board of Directors and Guillaume Dard (ESSEC 1979) is CEO of Montpensier Finance. Here are a few words on why they are committed to working with ESSEC Business School.

Committing to performance

ESSEC is moving forward, but it needs to move even farther. This is the reason behind the Development Campaign which we have joined, along with many other company directors.
’ESSEC is moving forward. It is in the first rank of comparable schools in France, and its new management team has achieved significant results. Initiatives in all types of training are greatly appreciated.

ESSEC must move even farther, faithful to its pioneering spirit and its commitment to offer ever more to the entire community it fosters – students, alumni, faculty, administrative personnel, and all its partner companies – in a context of development and international openness.

What are the ways forward? The Development campaign targets three objectives:
Creation of chairs and institutes in a partnership with companies to combine academic and applied research in a truly operational approach.
Development of the scholarship program with the aim of increasing the school’s international scope and attracting talented students worldwide.
Campus development requires investments to support the other two development targets.

The Development Committee brings together company directors and other personalities who are graduates of ESSEC or from other backgrounds. They know that corporate performance depends on the quality of its managers and their training. They would like to thank you for your participation in the Development Campaign.
