22 December 2006: the Econocom IT resource company contributes to the development of infrastructures at ESSEC’s Cergy campus.
BNP Paribas Immobilier becomes the exclusive partner of the ESSEC Real Estate Chair.
July-December 06: the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignation state finance institution and the MACIF insurance company renew and increase their contribution to the Chair for Social Entrepreneurship for a further four years.
November 2006: creation of the Private Equity Chair, in partnership with Barclays Private Equity, the audit and consulting company Grant Thornton, and the corporate law practice Linklaters, all of whom become founder members of the Chair.
7 November 2006: as part of the THALES Academia scholarship program (supported by the THALES Group and the Foreign Affairs Ministry), the two Indian students from the Specialized Master’s in Strategy and Management of Foreign Affairs to have received a grant are received at the headquarters of the Group, where they meet with the tutor who will supervise them all through their studies.
27-28 September 2006: Pierre Tapie and Marie-Stéphane Maradeix, Campaign Assistant Director, meet with Alumni in London working in the Finance industry in order to raise awareness of the implications of the School’s development and to target new educational requirements for the field.
26 September 2006: Pierre Tapie, Dean & President of ESSEC Business School, and the Development Campaign team are received at an evening event held at the Maison des ESSEC (the headquarters of the ESSEC Alumni Association), during which the stakes of the School’s development are presented to former graduates who studied at ESSEC prior to the move to Cergy (1965-74 classes).
August 2006: PSA Peugeot Citroën signs an agreement with ESSEC Business School in support of the development of infrastructures on the Cergy campus.
June 2006: Gaz De France confirms its partnership with the Chair of Sales and Marketing Strategy.
