ESSEC Business School and the “Institut du Benchmarking” establish the “Business Takeover Referential” (“Référentiel de la Reprise d’Entreprises” or “2RE”)

The observatory has been set up with two goals in mind:

- Enabling company heads to compare their own practices with those of other business leaders who have also participated in takeovers

- Identifying the main keys to success, risk factors and the best practices for successfully helping future takeover specialists maximize the post-takeover value creation process.

The observatory benefits from the participation of company heads in charge of businesses to have been taken over at least two years ago.
Information relating to the takeovers in which they have been involved is available via the observatory website. They may also compare their own experiences with the reactions of fellow company heads.
