ESSEC students interact with peers of diverse nationalities and learn to understand cultural differences during case studies, meetings, working groups, learning foreign languages and other activities.

All students have the opportunity to travel, make new discoveries, and work outside their own country, either during company internships, university exchanges, field trips, humanitarian missions outside France, or during corporate consulting projects. The School is also one of the rare institutions in its field to emphasize foreign language acquisition, which also greatly contributes to fostering an open-minded attitude among its students.
