Departments

A department groups together professors who share complementary expertise in their discipline. Instruction and curriculum are developed and coordinated for all ESSEC programs in these departments under the management of the department head, who is chosen by his or her colleagues. ESSEC currently has eight departments.


Feedback meeting

The Finance Department is organising an informal meeting in order to get your feedback about the finance track and its activities on Tuesday May 22nd at 5:00 pm in room N231 (in the Nautile). After the meeting you will have the opportunity to share a drink with the professors of the department and also interact with them.

Education at the Finance Department

The Finance Department offers a wide array of courses in ESSEC’s various programs:


The ESSEC MSc in Management

The department offers 23 courses in Finance to more than 2,000 students each year. In particular:

  • The Finance Track is open to students who wish to specialise themselves in the Finance area. It offers specialized coursework in Corporate Finance, Financial Markets and General Finance.


The Advanced Masters Program in Finance


Partnership with the CFA Institute

The ESSEC MSc Finance Track and the Advanced Master’s in Financial Techniques are partners of the CFA Institute, which administers the "Chartered Financial Analyst program".

Executive Education

The ESSEC Finance Department, along with a selected network of industry professionals, offers a Wealth Management program. This program, offered in French, is meant for financial advisers working in the asset management and wealth management area.
