Biography

Estefania's research interests focus on the Economics of Contracts and Institutions, Economic History and Economic Development. She is affiliated to the Economic History Association, Royal Economic Society, member of the board of directors of ITFA and member of the editorial board of Oeconomia. She is Visiting Assistant Professor at UC Berkeley during the summer of 2012 and 2011. She has been research assistant at BRIE institute in UC Berkeley from June 2008-June2009. She has also been Teaching Assistant in the Economics Department at Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona.  Estefania has received several fellowships and awards among them; Salzburg Global Seminar Fellowship Session 456 (2008), UC Berkely Graduate Fellowship, Department of  Economics (2008-2009) and the Fundacion Caja Madrid Fellowship (2006-2008).
