Motivation, challenges and skills

Since its launch in 2004, the ESSEC & Mannheim Executive MBA program has offered its participants the expertise of two century-old management institutions, coupled with an interactive curriculum that helps prepare them for major business challenges.


Five ESSEC & Mannheim Executive MBA participants share their thoughts on the course from a number of angles.

Philip Hanefeld, Laboratory Manager and Ph.D. in Science, discusses the insight the course gives into various fields.

Novica Savic, a Head of Dental Division with 13 years’ professional experience, sees the EMBA as an opportunity to learn something new, regardless of expertise, from some of the very best professors on the market.

Emmanuelle Bouladon, an e-Marketing Specialist with 7 years’ professional experience, recognizes the importance of building up and acquiring essential teamwork skills.

Kerstin Kuehne, Marketing Manager for Renault with 10 years’ professional experience, considers the varied profiles of participants and the new focus and perspective that this provides.

Lamia Belkaid, a Lobbyist from Brussels with 11 years’ professional experience, looks back at the decision process when choosing to pursue an Executive MBA, as well as the possibility of balancing one’s personal life and executive-level studies.
