The fast pace of today’s globalisation has culminated in colossal financial and social challenges. Developed, emerging and under-developed economies alike are currently facing a wave of crises, resulting in multitudes of questions.

Today’s business leaders are being asked whether they are limiting themselves to value creation for shareholders or whether they aspire to develop a broader understanding of firms missions, a value-based leadership in pursuit of sustainable economic and social progress. The consequence of the effects of the company on the community in which it operates, as well as the society at large, is becoming an increasingly important issue.

How can companies incite responsible and innovative behaviour and leadership in the countries in which they operate?
