Interdisciplinary approaches to management

Management is primarily a social activity.
Based on research findings and pedagogical forms enhancing learners’ reflexivity, seminars and courses (hosted by departments such as MGT or CPT) explore the complexities of management situations with the use of various theories (psychological, sociological, philosophical, etc.).

In evidencing what is happening behind the scenes, this often critical investigation opens up alternative paths for management, away from fashions and simple/istic ideas – management that is respectful of intercultural and interpersonal differences and could therefore contribute to the satisfying development of both organisations and their participants.
