The Chair of Communication and Management was set up in 1989 with partners from the media, advertising agencies, and industry and service companies, such as Groupe Publicis, Reuters, Europe 1 Communication, and France Loisirs. Its role is to promote communication as a management tool and to optimize image management to ensure consistency and synergy in meeting corporate economic objectives.

This sector has also an important economic weight, through employment in Health care service , pharmaceutical and medical device industry and Health care organizations and administration.

The ESSEC Health Economics Chair was created to meet the needs of this sector for training and research in economy and management.

The Chair has four missions : select and train ESSEC students willing to start a career in the sector, develop skills in economy and management for professionals, carry out research projects and offer a potential of expertise to the decision makers.

The ESSEC-Sanofi-Aventis Chair of Therapeutic Innovation aims to meet two objectives:

1/ train future players of the health industry in innovation management;

2/ develop strategic analysis to convert therapeutic progress into economic and social value.
