Internships

This option, available beginning in the third year, represents an attractive financing method. The companies with which the students sign an internship agreement cover their tuition and pay them a salary throughout the term of the contract. A reform to French law passed in September 2007 allows students without French nationality to participate in internships.

Aid available

  • French State higher education scholarships (CROUS) and scholarships granted by certain regions or local authorities help make it possible for students to finance their BBA program. Applications must be submitted before April 30th of every year.
  • International mobility scholarships from the Conseil Général du Val d’Oise, designed to assist ESSEC Business School students residing in Val d’Oise as part of an internship or academic exchange abroad.
  • International mobility scholarships from the European Union (ERASMUS, SOCRATES, etc.).
  • Bank loans at preferential rates with no security required for French residents. ESSEC has entered into a partnership agreement with LCL in Cergy.

Testimonial

“My internship gave me the chance to learn about the corporate world. Working in a team, handling responsibilities and implementing initiatives allow you to acquire the skills and habits you need for success in a company.

This experience also helped me build my initial professional network of contacts. I was able to attend such a renowned business school in part because the company I worked for paid my tuition and gave me a salary.”
