Philosophy

This Program is conducted jointly with the Economics department at the University of Cergy-Pontoise, one of the leading French universities in Economics and Finance.

Combining the faculties of both institutions is an important asset of the Program that allows for a wide range of courses/seminars as well as research facilities, varied experiences, and supervision for students.

Students will obtain a Master in Research awarded jointly by ESSEC Business School and the UCP after successful completion of the first year of studies in our Ph.D. Program.

In this concentration, students may specialize in three main areas:

  • Industrial Organization,
  • International Economics (with micro or macro emphasis),
  • Public Economics.
