A successful first trip to Germany!
7/02/2011
A group of 16 students travelled on the first study trip to Germany from the 11th to the 14th of November. The program was designed to let them get acquainted with the University of Mannheim, Germany’s leading business school. It’s also one of ESSEC’s oldest academic partners, with whom ESSEC has had an exchange program since 1982 and a double degree since 1992.
The program also included visits to three German businesses: Commerzbank, Bilfinger Berger (number two in the German construction industry) and the Lenk paper mill, which is run by an alumnus of the ESSEC- Mannheim double degree ; there were dinner get-togethers with ESSEC graduates currently working in Germany and also guided tours of Frankfurt, Mannheim, Heidelberg and Speyer.
