CV Book 2010

Niall Kelly, Vice President of Development, EAME, Starwood Hotels & Resorts

Niall was born in Dublin and completed a B.Sc. (Management) from Trinity College, Dublin and a Higher Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management from Dublin Institute of Technology.

He worked for a small hotel/resort development firm in Ireland prior to entering ESSEC.
After finishing his degree in 1996, he spent just under 3 years working for Arthur Andersen in New York in the hospitality consulting practice.

He joined the Starwood Hotels & Resorts development team at the end of 1998 in London, before moving to Brussels.

"Through this program, I had the opportunity to learn amongst the fundamentals in real estate finance that play a large part in my day-to-day job.

It subsequently provided me with the contacts to exploit such knowledge and information. It also prepared me, for better or worse, for many long hard nights of work.

On a personal front, coming from Ireland twelve years ago, it was a microcosm of many languages and cultures to which I had not been exposed.
I made some of the best friends I will ever have.”

Dimitrios P. Zarikos, General Manager, Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terre Blanche

Dimitrios Zarikos has a proven track record with Four Seasons, initially taking the helm as Hotel Manager of Four Seasons New York and more recently playing a major role in the opening teams for Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris and Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence.

A graduate of ESSEC, he gained a Masters of Professional Studies in June 1983 before joining Chandris Hotel, Peraeus, in Greece, where he quickly developed a good grounding in hotel operations as Sales Manager.

He then moved to New York where he worked in several different capacities for The Essex House before joining Four Seasons.

His career has spanned roles such as Restaurant and Lounge Manager, Director of Food and Beverage and Assistant General Manager through to Hotel Manager and General Manager.

This, combined with the experience gained by working in several countries, makes him an ideal candidate for this leading position.
