MBA ProgramsMBA in Hospitality Management (IMHI)

IMHI Alumni

  1. MBA Hospitality administration: directors, professors and assistants
  2. Friends of IMHI: founders, former directors, former professors and hotel industry leaders who look to IMHI as an indispensable source for recruitment
  3. IMHI Alumni: whose role is to be in regular contact with the school’s alumni association (AAIMHI). Once the database is brought up to date, our aim is to encourage alumni to notify the Association of job and address changes.

Focus

I thank you for your involvement and support.

It is important that we remain in contact.

With everyone’s participation and commitment we will strengthen both our alumni network and IMHI.

- Please update your contact information
- Inform the association of career or job changes directly by  email

Cordially,

Mission, objectives and tasks for the year 2009-2010

  1. Continue to update the new database in order to reinforce the alumni network.
  2. Continue to improve the job offer section on  www.aaimhi.com.
  3. Increase the number of dues paying members and hence active members who may contribute to the updating of their contact details or the contact details of their former IMHI classmates and alumni living in their region.
  4. Stimulate the regional delegates so that they contribute always more locally to the activities of the alumni association and the school.
  5. Always continue to give more content to the AAIMHI website in order to increase traffic. After the job offer section, photo gallery, event announcements and the Get-Together reports we will:
    • Continue to reinforce the «job» offer section
    • Reinforce the « Career Services » section by involving IMHI Alumni working in the recruitment sector.
  6. Set up a scholarship fund for IMHI students on the suggestion of the Board of Directors of the ESSEC.
  7. Perpetuate the e-Newsletter that was launched in May 2008. A printed version will be published in Nov/Dec and will be a compilation of all previous e-Newsletter with fresh news of the month.
  8. Implement a list of coporate IMHI alumni correspondants.
  9. Renovate the website : appearance, ease of use and browsing.

Our achievements in 2008/2009

  1. Launch and implement a scholarship fund to assist candidates from less developed parts of the world. This will help us to not only strengthen the pool of candidates and increase the international profile of IMHI graduates, but also provide world-class educational and development opportunities to outstanding candidates that could not otherwise afford to participate in the program.
  2. The get-togethers in Paris (10 in total) with 40 participants in average and also in Madrid, Dubai, London, Brussels, Rome, Geneva, Lausanne and Cannes.
  3. Hospitality alumni Professional news are now regularly published in ESSEC’s magazine “Reflets”.
  4. Articles published regularly and for the second year in a row in ESSEC’s magazine « Reflets » for the annual 10 page Tourism special edition. In order to receive ‘Reflets’ IMHI alumni must subscribe to ESSEC alumni at a cost of 120 euros (membership dues) + 40 euros (Reflets magazine).
