ESSEC Housing: About APL (Aide Personnalisée au Logement)

APL is deducted from monthly rent and collected directly by Alegessec. Notice: APL cannot be cumulative with family allowance or other social housing benefits.
Life at the ESSEC Business School

Who can receive APL?

All students who occupy a room in one of the three Alegessec residences and who did not have any revenue the previous year can receive APL at the full rate.

In contrast, students with professional experience and a regular income are not eligible for APL and must pay the full monthly amount (between 525 € et 677 €).

How to obtain APL?

Within two months of moving into a residence, students must complete an APL file at the ALEGESSEC office and, failing this, the monthly rent automatically rises to the complete rate (without the APL), following a registered letter sent to the student’s parents.
