December 5, 2020 - The first-ever virtual ESSEC Asia-Pacific Experience Day in South Korea was anchored by a panel discussion on what are the most sought-after skills in the marketplace today and how the ESSEC Global MBA has helped and prepared our alumni during these uncertain times. The panel discussion was moderated by Larry Medina, Head of Career Services, Alumni & Corporate Relations at ESSEC APAC, together with alumni from the Global MBA program - Pilsoo Shin, Retail Director, Guerlain at LVMH P&C, ESSEC GMBA Luxury Track 2017, and Steve Suhr, Brand Manager, Hyundai, ESSEC GMBA Luxury Track 2012.
One of the event’s highlights was Prof. Sonja Prokopec, ESSEC Business School LVMH Chaired Professor of Luxury Brand Management, leading the masterclass on Silver Lining in Every Cloud: Opportunities for the Luxury Market in a Post-Covid World.
December 10, 2020 - The ESSEC Global MBA Asia-Pacific virtual masterclass led by Denis Morisset on how luxury brands and retailers can navigate the post-COVID landscape attracted an overwhelming attendance of almost 200 online participants. Attendees gained insights into possible medium to long-term consequences of COVID on the luxury industry.
January 4 to 15, 2021 - The recently concluded iMaginationWeek2021 for the Master in Management students saw its first-ever hybrid format being held online and live on-campus.
This year's theme is "Ways of Life 2050" with our esteemed guest in APAC, Shailey Hingorani, Head of Advocacy and Research for women's rights group Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE).
