ESSEC Business School and the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University in Beijing are launching a double degree as part of the ‘Future Leaders’ program, which will be available to the ESSEC Global BBA students as of the fall 2020 semester.

Each year, five students who have completed their second year of ESSEC’s Global BBA program will be selected to continue their studies on the Guanghua campus. Focusing on the economic, political, and management dynamics in both Europe and Asia, this program will offer students a rich combination of courses and “learning by doing” experiences.  The partnership enables ESSEC to be part of Peking University’s “Future Leaders” program.  The program was developed as a means to equip the leaders of tomorrow with the skills necessary to confidently navigate business situations in China.

Applicants will be chosen based upon their submitted files. The successful candidates must meet all necessary academic requirements and will have completed their first two years of study at ESSEC.  Both the third and fourth academic years will be spent at Guanghua. Students will spend an additional six months at ESSEC completing internship requirements.

According to Hugues Levecq, Academic Director of the Global BBA program at ESSEC, “This partnership is a unique opportunity for our students to interact with their peers from around the world and to develop a deep understanding of the global issues affecting China. This immersion in China increases the possibilities of learning through experience.”

Upon completion of their coursework, students will obtain both an ESSEC Global BBA degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Guanghua.
