One degree, two admissions procedures

The Sesame Entrance Exam is obligatory for students in their final year of high school. Students with two years of post-secondary training must take the parallel entrance exam. This exam consists of a written part and an oral part in three languages (French, English and a third language). Candidates must be highly proficient in French to be admitted to the EPSCI program.

The Sesame Entrance Exam

Students in their final year of high school or who have completed one year of studies beyond high school must take the competitive SESAME Entrance Exam. The exam consists of a series of questions to be answered in writing. It is required for entrance to seven post-secondary educational institutions. Candidates choose the city in which they wish to take the exam (testing centers are available all over the world.)

Taking the exam

  • Registration for the Sesame exam takes place between January 4 and March 31, 2010 at www.concours-sesame.net
  • The selection of candidates for the EPSCI program takes place in two steps:
    • A written exam on April 21 and 22.
    • If the candidate is successful in the written exam, he or she becomes admissible and must then participate in an oral exam at the Cergy campus between May 27 and June 12 (inclusive).
