On December 10th, the ESSEC PhD department is set to host their third annual PhD Research Highlights event, during which PhD students will present their research – using a poster board and their imaginations – to make their findings as approachable as possible.

Doctoral research is an intrinsic part of knowledge creation at ESSEC. Over the past two years our PhD students had 13 publications, won 5 awards recognizing the quality of their research, and participated in 50 major conferences.

How does Facebook and Twitter impact the public’s engagement in social causes? Is there a way to predict the next financial crisis? How do legitimizing arguments impact the European debate over shale gas extraction? These are just a few of the research topics explored during previous editions of the ESSEC PhD Research Highlights.

This year, join us in the Knowledge Lab for coffee and croissants and learn more about the current, cutting edge research being developed by the ESSEC Doctoral program, networking with faculty, and vote for your favorite poster.
