Case study

Case study "United to innovate: Grameen Veolia Water", written by Anne-Claire Pache, Chaired Professor in Philanthropy at ESSEC and Kevin André, CEO of Kawaz, has been awarded with the 2019 CEEMAN & Emerald international case writing competition's third prize.

This teaching case deals with the creation of Grameen Veolia Water in Bengladesh, a joint venture that aims at distributing drinking water at affordable prices to rural populations in Bengladesh. It also highlights the challenges encountered at every step of the project's development. It will allow teachers around the world to discuss "social business" issues with their students through a real-life situation.
