As part of their Responsible Marketing course, students from the Rabat campus participated in three enriching learning expeditions, offering them direct exposure to companies committed to sustainable practices.
The first stop on this immersive journey took them to Domaine Irzane in the Serghina region, where they explored an agroecological farm that balances responsible production with respect for local ecosystems. Maëlle Pernin, a student at ESSEC Business School, shares her experience after the visit:
"We had the opportunity to support Hafida and her husband, who launched their project in 2019. They are now looking to develop their communication strategies to reach a new customer base in Morocco and promote their saffron-based cosmetics."
Hafida Moukadiri, the project’s founder, also shared her thoughts: "We were delighted to welcome ESSEC Africa students, who conducted an insightful analysis of our business from both social and environmental perspectives. Their keen observations and innovative proposals truly impressed us!"
Next, the students visited Nectarome in Marrakech, a company specializing in natural cosmetics that highlights Morocco’s ancestral expertise and local ingredients.
The final stop was at Nespresso in Casablanca, where they presented their academic projects related to the brand and engaged in discussions with executives about the company's environmental and social commitments.
These three experiences allowed students to bridge their theoretical knowledge with real-world business challenges, refining their vision of more responsible and innovative marketing.
"I truly enjoyed this visit. Engaging with professionals passionate about their work was a real pleasure. We had an amazing time!" said Maëlle Pernin.
Located at Plage des Nations in Sidi Bouknadel, ESSEC Africa's campus is a modern institution seamlessly integrated into its environment. Inaugurated in 2017, it offers an innovative learning space for both full-time students and professionals in continuing education.
By collaborating with economic, political, and nonprofit stakeholders in Morocco and across the continent, the Rabat campus actively contributes to regional and international socio-economic development.
Through these learning expeditions and its strong local presence, ESSEC Africa continues its mission to train a new generation of leaders who are aware of today’s and tomorrow’s societal and environmental challenges.
