ESSEC GMBA Luxury Brand Management participants had the privilege of having Guillaume de Seynes, the current Executive Vice President of Manufacturing and Equity Investments and Member of the Executive Committee for Hermès, as a guest speaker.
Hermès is a French luxury brand that has been around for over 185 years, starting as a business selling high quality harnesses and bridles to the French elite.
Monsieur de Seynes spoke about how Hermès remains committed to honoring its artisanal heritage and principles of refinement and high quality, with nearly every product handmade in one of Hermès's 52 ateliers in France.
This visit is part of many interventions offered during the ESSEC GMBA Luxury Brand Management Track, and it is very insightful for students!
