If the commission board finds that your background is strong but not complete enough in some required aspects, we may ask you to complete the program in 2 years (M1+M2) instead in order to build up your strengths and ensure your success.

English Tests: TOEFL iBT, IELTS, Cambridge:As test center testing remains limited in certain countries, candidates who have not already taken the test are allowed to apply by submitting the TOEFL iBT® Special Home Edition or the TOEFL ITP.
Management Tests: GMAT and GRE: As test center testing remains limited in certain countries, candidates who have not already taken the test are allowed to apply by submitting scores from theGMAT™ Online Exam or the GRE® General Test at Home.
STEP 1: Prepare the tests
You will need to provide: - 1 Management test score - mandatory - 1 English test score - exempted if native-speaker or have spent last 3 years in a 100% English speaking university:
You can only apply once per program each academic year.
STEP 3: Upload your supporting documents
A complete application file includes the following items. Incomplete application will not be processed.
1 page maximum
Authenticated copies of official degrees since high school (school leaving). While applying, if you do not have your final diploma that makes you eligible for the program, you can apply with an Enrolment Certificate. Important: By mid-December of your starting year at ESSEC, you will have to provide a copy of your final diploma (or a certificate of completion/attendance).
Official or authenticated copies from all colleges and universities attended since high school, including exchange programs (simple copies will not be accepted). Grading System details must be provided.
2 x Recommendations
One academic and one professional reference is recommended. It is the applicant's responsibility to enter details of both the referees as soon as possible to allow them to send the online recommendation on time. Once you enter their details and save, a link is sent to them immediately to fill out the recommendation online.
All documents must be provided in English or French. Official translations will also have to be provided for documents in other languages.
STEP 4: Submit your application
Once you have completed your online application and have attached all the supporting documents, the final step is to submit your online application.
Please keep in mind that there are several rounds of admissions. The deadlines to submit your application are listed in the table above.
STEP 5: Get your results
Your application will then be fully studied by the Academic Directors and an admissions committee. Results will be published online in your application online portal.
Results will be announced on the dates communicated in the table at the top of this page.
If you have been successful, you will then be contacted by a member of the admissions team who will tell you how to go about confirming your place in the programme.
If you applied for one-year program, please note that if the commission board finds that your experience or background is strong but not complete enough in some required aspects, you may be asked to join the two-year program instead in order to build up your strength and ensure your success.
STEP 6: Secure your seat
Within two weeks from the day of admission, confirm your place by paying the 5,000 EUR non-refundable deposit.
